taking a break

to all the readers of the archivist journal <3

Dear reader,

You might have noticed that lately my posts have become more chaotic and unfortunately even lower in quality. I've realised that I'm not really happy about what I'm posting and how I'm doing it, so I decided to take a short break from posting articles on here to reorganise the newsletter and the ideas in my head. I've changed so much since I started the archivist journal almost a year ago, and I've got so many projects I'm excited for, that I want to make space for on the blog and that I can't wait to share.

I'll continue to post my weekly commonplace on notes and I'm already preparing the July digest with all the media I'll collect this month.

Hopefully this is a reminder that if you need a break from something, you should allow yourself to take it. This doesn’t make you lazy, it doesn't mean you're not dedicated, it's just that sometimes you need to live if you want to write about life.

a tutti i lettori di the archivist journal <3

Cari lettori,

Come avrete notato, ultimamente i miei articoli sono diventati più caotici e scadenti. Nonessendo molto soddisfatta di quello che sto postando, ho deciso di prendere una piccola pausa dalla newsletter perché sto pianificando di fare alcuni cambiamenti e organizzarla in modo diverso. Sono cambiata molto da quando ho iniziato a scrivere the archivist journal un anno fa, e ho così tanti progetti e idee che non vedo l'ora di condividere sul blog.

Continuerò a postare i miei weekly commonplace sulle notes e sto già preparando il July digest, con tutto ciò che ho letto, visto e ascoltato questo mese.

Spero di incoraggiare tutti quelli che ne hanno bisogno a prendersi una pausa, perché può essere molto utile. Prendersi del tempo per sé non significa non amare ciò che si fa o essere pigri, significa solo che per scrivere della vita bisogna vivere prima.
